Get opted-in leads as soon as recipients scan your postcard's QR code
Capturing opted-in marketing contacts
With SnapCapture, every scan of your postcard’s QR code results in a new marketing contact being created. These are high-intent, opted-in leads that can be added to your CRM or email flows.
This is a major benefit of SnapCapture: you’re not just tracking engagement—you’re building your list with people who’ve actively interacted with your campaign.
By default, all leads captured through SnapCapture are considered opt-ins. To stay compliant with marketing laws, a small disclaimer must be printed on the postcard.
SnapCapture disclaimer (required for Addressed Acquisition)
To ensure compliance with privacy and marketing laws, every postcard in an Addressed Acquisition campaign that uses SnapCapture must include a clear disclaimer. This disclaimer informs the recipient that by scanning the QR code, they are opting in to receive future digital marketing communications from your brand.
What the disclaimer does:
Provides legal notice of opt-in for email and digital marketing
Makes SnapCapture scans compliant with privacy and data regulations
Helps protect your brand while capturing qualified leads
Where the Disclaimer Appears:
Included on the back of every addressed postcard (typically near the QR code)
Automatically added if BirdseyePost designs your mailer
Must be manually included if you're uploading your own design (you’ll see this outlined in the design template)
Disclaimer Text: "By scanning this QR Code and receiving this offer, you consent to receive digital and electronic communications from [Company Name]. This may include promotional materials, updates, and other relevant information. To learn more, unsubscribe or adjust communication preferences, please review the terms of service and privacy policy at www.qrcodes.codes"
If you're unsure how to include this in your design, our team is happy to help ensure compliance and placement.
