Acquisition: Neighborhood Mail (EDDM)

Reach every household in a local area using cost-effective, unaddressed postcards.

When to Use Neighborhood Mail

Neighborhood Mail (also known as Every Door Direct Mail marketing, or EDDM) is ideal when your goal is broad brand visibility within a specific geographic region. Unlike addressed acquisition campaigns—which focus on personalized targeting—Neighborhood Mail delivers the same postcard to every address on a selected route, making it significantly more affordable per piece.

Best suited for:

  • Local store or service launches

  • Awareness campaigns targeting a general population

  • High-frequency touchpoints in a specific region

Benefits:

  • Lower cost per piece compared to personalized addressed mail

  • Simplified targeting using location and census overlays

  • Broad exposure without requiring individual recipient data

Description: Neighborhood Mail delivers your postcard to every household or business in a given geographic area. It's ideal for saturation-based marketing and is priced lower per piece than personalized addressed mail. Use it to generate awareness and drive foot traffic or interest in a region.

Steps:

  1. In campaign setup, choose Acquisition campaign, and the Neighbourhood mail

  2. Choose your target location using zip/postal codes, city, or radius

  3. Apply optional filters: address type (residential/business), route type (urban/rural), and demographic overlays

  4. Choose mail format and design your postcard (upload your own or use our free design service)

  5. Set campaign frequency (one-time or monthly), launch date, and budget

  6. Enable optional SmartMaps to highlight nearby store locations

  7. Review and confirm your campaign details
